I recently read Evernight and Stargazer by Claudia Gray. They were pretty good. The beginning of the first book, Evernight, was pretty slow. Also, I was a little disappointed because it seemed like it was trying too hard to be like Twilight and I don't like when authors try to copy other books ideas. Then half way through the book - WOW! I was completely thrown for a loop! I have to say - not at all what I expected! I really enjoyed the twist and it made the book so much better after that!
Stargazer, the sequel, was also enjoyable. There was a new nemesis introduced and can I just say - I love Balthazar! He is such a great character - no buts. The ending of this book was so gripping and I am bummed I have to wait until next year for the next book in the series!
